We are seeking a Developmental Therapist to join our team of top pediatric specialists.
Our Developmental Therapist collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to implement an intensive therapeutic program to provide a comprehensive approach to pediatric care. Developmental Therapist at Blue Bird Day work directly with clients aged 2-6 years old and their families to support development and caregiver success. Developmental Therapist Schedule:
Monday-Friday 8am-430pm
Our Developmental Therapists Focus on the Following Interventions:
Early Childhood Development
DIR/Floortime Intervention
Play-based Intervention
Peer-learning
Family and Team Collaboration and Education
Developmental Therapist Education Requirements:
Masters or Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Development preferred
Credentialed Developmental Therapists or education requirements to apply for the state credential
Experience working with neurodivergent children

Blue Bird Day is an intensive therapy program for children with autism, ADHD, and other developmental disorders. Our therapies are offered in a preschool-like setting, but instead of teachers, our "classes" are run by therapists. Our collaborative team provides occupational, physical, speech, developmental, ABA, and other therapies to help our clients reach their unique goals. We have locations in Chicago's West Loop and Northcenter neighborhoods and in Wheaton, and we're growing!
